عند تطبيق هذا الكود على المتصفح لن ترى سوى الجملة This is a paragraph لكن باقي المكتوب لن تراه لأنه هو التعليق او الملاحظة وتكون بين سهمين وشرطتين وعلامة تعجب كما هو آتي :

وجميع انواع المتصفحات تدعم وسم التعليقات هذا.
فائدة التعليقات إذا كان لديك الكثير من التعليمات البرمجية تستطيع كتابة تعليقات بجوارها او شرح تعليمات برمجية في الصفحة , لو كتابة شئ ما كتذكرة حتى لا تنسى موضع كود معين او لم يكتمل عمله.
